On July 6, 2022, Aizawa Asset Management Co., Ltd organized its annual investors meeting for its secondary strategy funds, Ariake Secondary Fund I LP and Ariake Secondary Fund II LP.
Considering current influence of COVID-19 and locations of those investors outside Japan, we invited our limited partners to online meeting to update our investment activities throughout a year 2021, upon completion of audit of financial reporting, and held an in-person event to invite more than 30 institutional investors in Japan, to two panel discussions on an agenda “Secondary Strategy Investment in Japan: Now and Future” ; one is among local active managers of both buy-out funds and venture capital funds, and the others among industry veterans from local institutional investors, both to discuss on necessity of secondary strategy in Japan.
